What time is the eclipse at my location?

The same UTC instant appears at a different clock time in each time zone. SkyWindow converts every phase into the selected place’s IANA time zone while retaining the UTC instant in the data.

What the calculation includes

The answer separates the beginning and end of the partial phase, maximum eclipse and, where applicable, the boundaries of totality. It also reports Sun altitude and azimuth: a maximum close to the horizon requires a genuinely open view. Seconds can vary slightly between models and exact coordinates.

Timing does not say whether the sky will be clear. Check the timestamped forecast next, and use certified eclipse eye protection throughout every partial phase.
